Penn Township hosts an annual National Softball Association (NSA) Class A and B State Championship World Series Qualifier tournament. The tournament is operated by the NSA of Western Pennsylvania (NSA/WPA) and runs over the Memorial Day weekend (Friday May 23 through Sunday May 25).
